Mike Hurwitz specializes in tenant representation, lease negotiation, and acquisition and has been instrumental in helping some of the nation’s more aggressive retailers establish and expand their presence in the St. Louis area. He began his real estate career in 1988 with sales and leasing for Marvin Deutsch Enterprises, and then joined Walpert Properties in 1991.
Mike has been involved in some of Walpert Properties largest retail acquisitions including the recently acquired Morse Centre and Northtowne Centre in Columbus, Ohio, totaling a combined 440,000 square feet. Additionally, he has successfully leased some of St. Louis' most prominent medical office buildings.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Missouri - Columbia with a degree in Business. He is active in the efforts of Athletes For A Cure/Prostate Cancer Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Youth Lifeline Foundation. His interests include, ice hockey, and Krav Maga Training and CrossFit Training. Mike enjoys weightlifting and competed in the 2005 "Show Me Nationals" Bodybuilding Show.
